Mission Teams

We believe that short-term mission trips have a long-term impact on participants. Members of Pleasant Street United Methodist Church have worked through our New England Conference connections with Iglesias de Cristo in Nicaragua and Salud Y Paz in Guatemala. Others have served through United Methodist Volunteers In Mission in locations such as Downeast Maine Missions in East Machias. A group is currently exploring the possibility of a mission trip to Korando, Kenya.  And our Youth Group has traveled to UM ARMY work camps in Pennsylvania.
